Major Feature Release: Power BI Integration
We’re excited to announce our latest major feature release which allows for seamless integration between Cosmos and Microsoft Power BI.
This is a two-way integration that allows users to not only access their Cosmos data model from within Power BI, but also allows Cosmos to display Power BI Workspaces from within Cosmos. This provides users with the means to effortlessly create Power BI dashboards and reports without the hassle of trying to wrangle together data with SQL or DAX.
In addition, this furthers our vision of making Cosmos a single source for financial and operational reports, as well as robust analytical dashboards.
Ability to Rename Tables, Fields, and Relationships in the Data Model
When it comes to data, needs change and organizational requirements evolve. In this release we have added the ability for customers to easily rename the tables, fields, and relationships in their data model. Once those changes are published users will see them immediately when building and modifying reports. In addition, changing the names of tables and fields will not break any existing Cosmos reports.
