Overview
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you some exciting new features! These updates are all around the scheduling functionality within Cosmos, and we're happy to incorporate some of the most requested features into this part of the product. Highlights of this release include:
Batch Scheduling
While scheduling functionality has been in the product for quite a while now, we have received feedback that our customers want an easier way to "batch schedule" large numbers of reports without having to set them up one-by-one in the Cosmos Portal. We've added a Batch Scheduling feature that makes it easy to leverage an Excel file to set up large numbers of report runs and have them run and send out to the desired recipients. This way, if you need to send out 20 departmental income statements, one to each department, you don't need to set up 20 separate schedules anymore, you can create a batch file, set up the first one, copy it down in Excel, and then just change the Department Code and recipients in each one.

Run Any Scheduled Report On-Demand
There are times where you may have a scheduled report that runs and sends copies of the report out to the recipients, but you don't want to wait for the scheduled time to come and just want to run it on-demand. We have added a "Run Now" button to all report schedules, enabling you to easily kick off the scheduled tasks whenever you want.

Disable Report Schedules
If you have a report schedule that you want to disable temporarily, or permanently, there is now an easy way to do that without having to delete and recreate the report schedule. Now you can easily edit a report schedule and toggle off an "Enabled" button to disable the report schedule from running. This can also be very useful for reports where you want to set up a distribution of who it should go to but you always want to run it on-demand. You can create the schedule, disable it, and then use the "Run Now" button that is covered in the section above to run it whenever you need.

We hope you enjoy these updates as much as we enjoyed creating them for you. As always, we’re here to support you and look forward to your feedback. Happy reporting! 🚀
