Upgraded Cosmos Platform Infrastructure
While it may not be the most exciting thing in the world for our users, Microsoft is constantly releasing innovative technologies and updated versions of existing technologies that we leverage. We spent most of the past two weeks updating things behind the scenes to ensure that our customers always have an optimal experience when using our product.
Improved Workflows When Deleting Objects in Data Management
We understand the importance of ensuring that our users don't accidentally delete something that they can't get back, so we have added improvements in the Data Management section. These will prompt the user to confirm they want to delete something before it is deleted; this ensures that an accidental mouse click on the wrong button doesn't accidentally delete something that the user didn't mean to delete.
This confirmation will appear when the user attempts to do any of the following:
- When the user clicks the Delete button on an extension in the Manage section
- When the user clicks the Delete button on a table in the Data Model section
- When the user clicks the Delete button on a field in the Data Model section
- When the user clicks the Delete button on a relationship in the Data Model section
Miscellaneous Improvements
In addition to the improvements covered above we made several minor improvements to the product based on customer input:
- Improved the readability and layout of some user interface areas
- Made improvements to optimize the performance of nightly data refreshes for Data Management
- Made improvements to the onboarding process for new customers
