Overview

The Business Central tenant ID is one of the core identifiers of your Business Central tenant. It is not common to need to change this, but this article will cover the process of getting it updated if needed.

Since the Business Central tenant ID is the unique identifier for your Business Central instance and is typically associated with your organization's Azure Active Directory (AAD) tenant, it is not common to need to change this. By default, when a Business Central data source is added in Cosmos it will inherit your organization's AAD tenant ID automatically. 

Due to the sensitive nature of this tenant ID, it cannot be changed manually from within the Cosmos Portal. If you need to have your Business Central tenant ID updated, please reach out to our support team at support@cosmosdatatech.com and our team will be happy to assist you.
