Overview

After your Business Central data source is set up, you may want to go in and adjust some of the settings such as the environment or the companies that Cosmos is pulling in data from. This article will cover how to adjust the settings for your Business Central data source.

Updating your Business Central Environment

To point a Business Central data source to a different environment, you will navigate to the Tenant Administration portal and click the Data Sources tab on the left. You will then click the Edit button on the right-hand side of the data source you would like to adjust.

Once the Edit button is pressed, you can adjust the Business Central environment that the data source is pointed to by editing the Environment field and clicking Save.

For this change to take effect you will need to log in to the Cosmos Environment, check out the data model, and then check it in, publish it, and run the pipeline.
