Overview

Once a user runs a report in Cosmos, the user can easily open the report in Excel Online directly from the Cosmos portal. It is also easy to download a local copy of the report if the user prefers to view the report from Excel on their machine or if they want to save a copy of the report to their machine for later review.

Before downloading a copy of the report locally, the user should first open the report that they wish to download by following the instruction in the following article: How to Open a Report. 

Once the report is open, the user should click on the File menu in the Excel Online ribbon and then click on Save As and then click Download a Copy. This will download a copy of the Excel file to the user's local machine.
