Overview
Typically, most tables that are run within a data pipeline are run using an incremental load. There may be times, however, where you want to trigger a full load of all the data in your reporting database, so that all data is loaded fresh. This article covers how to trigger a manual full load for a pipeline run.
Details
To trigger a manual full load of all the data in your reporting database, perform the following steps:
- Click the Publish Pipeline button. This will cause the latest version of the data model to be published and will also clear out the properties that perform the incremental updates
- Click the Run Pipeline button. This will trigger a manual run of the pipeline and, since the previous step cleared out the properties for the incremental updates, a full update will be run
If you don't click the Run Pipeline button to trigger the full load manually, the full load will be run during the next scheduled data refresh.
Do note that a full load will reload all the data from Business Central, so this data refresh may take longer than the typical incremental loads.
