Overview

Cosmos supports most of the Business Central data types, however there are some that are currently unsupported. This article outlines which data types are currently unsupported by Cosmos and how to identify them in the Staging area of Data Management.

Details

The following Business Central data types are currently unsupported within the Cosmos Data Management module:

• Blob
• Media
• MediaSet
• TableFilter
• Time
• FlowFields
• Fields flagged as "Obsolete"

These data types are typically associated with images and pictures within Business Central and the TableFilter data type is used internally by Business Central and would not be relevant for reporting.

Unsupported data types will still be visible within the Staging section when looking at Business Central fields, however they will be unchecked and disabled so the user cannot select them. Below is an example of the unsupported Picture field from the Item table:
