Overview
There may be times where a user has checked a report out for editing but then the user is unavailable to check it back in, such as if they are out on vacation. Users with the Administrator role can force the check in of a report. When the admin does this, any changes made by the previous user are discarded and the report is checked back in and made available for check-out for other users.
Details
To force the check in of a report that is checked out by another user, the user must have the Administrator role assigned to them. You will navigate to the report that you would like to check in, click the "..." on the lower-right corner of the report card for the report, and click Force Check In.
You will then be shown a confirmation window letting you know that any changes the other user has made to the report will be discarded and the report will be checked back in. Click Ok to complete the process.
The report will then be checked back in and made available to be checked out by other users.
