Overview
After your Business Central data source is set up, you may want to go in and adjust some of the settings such as the environment or the companies that Cosmos is pulling in data from. This article will cover how to adjust the settings for your Business Central data source.
Details
To adjust the settings for your Business Central data source, navigate to the Data Management section of the Cosmos Portal and go to the Manage tab. From there, expand your Business Central data source and click the Edit button.
Once the Edit button is pressed, you can adjust the following settings:
- Environment Name: This will update the name of the Business Central environment that Cosmos will connect to
- Synchronize Companies: Clicking the circular arrows next to the Companies label will synchronize the list of companies that you see with the list of companies in Business Central
- Enable Companies: Checking and unchecking the Enabled field to the right of each company name will adjust which companies in Business Central data is pulled from in Cosmos. Additional details are covered in the article here: Changing the Business Central Companies to Import Data From
