Overview

Once the user runs a report, they will want to open the report to see the finished version. There are a few ways to open reports within the Cosmos portal which are covered in the article below.

Opening a Report After the Report Run Completes

When the user runs a report and the report has completed, the user can open the "Report Runs" pane on the right-hand side of the Cosmos Portal and will see an Open button for each report that has completed. Clicking the Open button will open the finished version of the report in a new browser tab using Excel Online. From there the user can also download the report if desired.

Opening Recent Report Runs and Archived Reports

The Cosmos Portal will keep track of all copies of the report that have been archived and will keep the last two weeks of report runs that have not been archived. To open a previous run of the report from a previous login of the Cosmos Portal, the user will click on the "Run History" button on the report card.

Once the Run History window opens, the user can click the Open button for any of the reports to open that copy of the report. Clicking the Open button will open the finished version of the report in a new browser tab using Excel Online. From there the user can also download the report if desired.
